Whoa! You did that so fast! What a cute video! Thank you for sharing this Kate! I noticed you jiggled her head a little bit. I was just watching a new mom at a baby shower the other night and she was jiggling her baby on her lap and I was thinking how that motion makes me sleepy too. I fall asleep while rocking my baby to sleep every night. Never thought to use it for this pose! Great idea!
Awesome! Thank you sooo… much for sharing. We don’t do a lot of newborn shoots, but we did try that pose once. Needless to say it did not turn out, but now we know what to try next time. You are FABULOUS!
This is awesome! I loved the song and the video! Your brother did an amazing job and I loved seeing the behind the scenes! Can’t wait for more videos!
That fur prop is to die for. All of these are gorgeous photos of this sweet baby girl.
So everyone absolutely loved the pictures! I had several people tell me they were the best photos they had ever seen. You are amazing, I love loved the pictures!!! Thank you so much Katie! You truly are so talented!

I love it Katie! You are amazing with babies and kids.
Thank you for sharing the video! I am expecting my first baby and want to try this pose when she’s born. Love the pictures with the paper flowers in the background. Can you share where you got them from? They would look good in her nursery.
Your video was so cute! Thanks so much for sharing that. Everyone asks us about the pic you did of our baby, Audrey and now they can see it in action. The $ we spent on the session was the best money we have spent on anything. They’re so priceless. Thanks so much! PS. The last pic in this session is awesome! You always have the freshest props/ideas!

Thanks for the great video! Now how about a workshop?!
Thank you so much for posting this video. I to would love it if your did a class on baby posing. You are amazing. A quick question. What are you using underneath the newborn. Is it better to have a hard surface for the elbow to hold the weight or a soft surface? Thanks!

Love this, just what I was wanting to know: How to pose these precious little babies. Sometimes I am nervouse I’ll wake them and that will be that! Please post more videos of your shoots and posing Thanks so much.
I just loved your video so much, and it taught me so much. I’m not sure why you pulled it down but, I’d love to share it with a fellow photographer on how to pose newborns. Is there anyway you’d post it again?
