Finn, Nora & family
So Ian emailed me a few months ago saying he wanted to surprise his wife for her birthday, by flying their family out from Florida for some family pictures! Is that not the cutest surprise EVER? He gave her a map to Utah to open on her birthday and that is how he told her. Talk about a little pressure. And of course the day they came in, was sooooooooo freaking cold and dark outside we didn’t get to shoot long outside. Luckily little Nora was so awesome and smiled for the whole session! These guys were so much fun to shoot and glad their little kiddo’s got to see snow for the first time:) Enjoy!

They are amazing, as are all the ones below them. They had a great time on their little “photo vacation”. Finn got to see snow for the 1st time. Ian was sweet to plan all this out. ( Oct 10th, 2012 7:08 pm)Ive been wanting to figure out a way to put wallpaper up for a backdrop but can’t figure out how to do it?? Someone suggested gator board, but that is really expensive. Do you mind sharing how you did it?? Btw I now have all of my fabrics on frames like you showed in your tutorial…you seriously have made my life so much easier. I can’t thank you enough for sharing that! You are amazing!!! Thank u, thank u!!!!

The clothes are all super soft and good quality besides being fun and unique. The owner, Mitra, is great to work with too:) I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for summer!

I think I will come back to this post when ever I am having a bad day:) So first I have to tell you I bought the cute headbands from Cozette Couture. I was thrilled to find out she has a Kiosk in the lower level of south town mall. Suzette the owner is such a sweetie and so great to work with if you want anything custom. I bought my pants from blend in Utah County, my new favorite store! My husband worked hard on the backgrounds:)(thanks babe) I don’t know how he did it, but he figured out a way to make the wallpaper backdrop portable. Katie and Dan are both so great to work with! We just love them!! With some of my kids getting older these pictures were so important to me and I wouldn’t have had them taken by anyone else. Thanks Katie and Dan! You will never know how much these pictures mean to me.

( Dec 31st, 2011 6:52 am)WOW WOW! This is the best family session I have ever seen!!! So they brought the wallpaper and you wallpapered an extra wall just for this session? Their clothing is amazing. A family/mom has to have this style to begin with! It is not something you can “get” a family to do for a session if the style is not there in the first place! I just love it!!!!
