Session type
First you need to decide whether you would like location or studio shots.  Typically we prefer newborns in the studio and family shots on location but anything else is up to you.  For location shots the best lighting is either overcast skies or sunset.  There is a park close to our studio that we can shoot anytime because of the trees.

Booking a session
We shoot T-TH starting at 3:30pm and Saturdays starting at 11:00am.  Our weekends and evenings fill up the fastest, we are booked usually 1-2 months in advance, and even longer in September & October.  For location shots we shoot in the evening about 90 min before the sun goes down.
The cut off date for getting pictures in time for the holidays is December 1st.

For newborns, please email in advance so we can get you on a list for the general time you will be having your baby.

Then please call right when you have your baby and we can get you in before he/she is 10 days old.

Clothing recommendations and accessories:
Try to layer your clothing,  to add texture and life to the picture. … like tee shirts with  corduroy jackets or sweaters.  Try to bring accessories like hats, scarfs, ties, belts, shoes and blankets with any texture for newborns. Also if your child is into any activities like, snowboarding, skateboarding, guitar etc, feel free to bring those as well.  We do have a lot of hats and other accessories in our studio for  you to use.
